Hope as an engine of commitment and resilience, the story of Runa Khan and Friendship.

Faced with the climate crisis, what we can learn from Bangladesh.

 

Join us for an evening of hope and resilience. This evening will take place as part of the Festival Rêve Général and Festival  Nourrir Les Campus.

The event will also mark the launch of the UNI for Change developed by the ULiège Green Office. This platform will support members of the ULiège community who wish to engage in concrete citizen actions in favor of the Social and Environmental Transition.

 

On the program :

  • 5:30 pm: Welcome
  • 6:00 pm: Conference by Runa Khan (In English with a French-speaking translator)
Runa Khan is a social entrepreneur in Bangladesh who founded the NGO Friendship. She will tell us about her journey, her reasons for taking action, the challenges facing Bangladesh and what we can learn from them.
  • 7:00 pm: Debate
Séverinne Dieudonné moderates this debate on the subject of hope and the positive effects of commitment.
Runa Khan will be accompanied by Princess Esméralda of Belgium, Jean-Pascal van Ypersele, Sybille Mertens, Nicolas-Antoine Moussiaux and ULiège students.
  • 7:45pm : A glass of friendship
  • 8:00 pm: Bangladeshi meal
The meal is priced at 10€ per adult and 5€ per student. Payment on site by cash or via the Payconic by Bancontact application.
