Relief parking lots

These parking lots, also known as park-and-ride facilities, are located on the outskirts of the city. They allow motorists to leave their cars there and then reach the city by public transport. This avoids traffic jams in the city center but also avoids having to look for a free parking space for hours or having to pay for a parking space. Indeed, these park-and-ride lots are completely free.

Park-and-ride facilities are available at the Angleur, Esneux and Ans stations, with an offer of 3 to 7 trains per hour during rush hour (2 to 4 trains during off-peak hours).

Carpooling parking lots

Wallonia has developed a network of secure carpooling parking lots accessible to all. There are 92 parking lots, which represents more than 2500 places. Their location has been studied so that they are located near the main roads, which allows carpoolers to reach each other more easily.
