Framing city of Liege and Sart Tilman

In order to ensure that users behave appropriately and take care of their scooters, the City of Liège has set up a framework.

This supervision is carried out in two stages:

• Firstly, only operators who agree to the self-service bike-sharing charter are eligible. This charter includes a set of commitments aimed at making operators more responsible.
• Secondly, an awareness campaign has been set up Guide du bon usage des trottinettes . This campaign is aimed at users of scooters and contains a number of recommendations on responsible behavior and a reminder of the highway code (which also applies to scooters).

Since the university has agreed to allow operators to deploy their fleets on the Sart Tilman campus, an additional measure has been established. The university drew up a charter (complementary to that of the City of Liege) that all operators had to sign. This charter contains, among other things, indications for the parking system and for the areas with limited or no traffic speed (nature reserve and boulevards).
