ULiège Sustainability Friends

ULiège Sustainability Friends is an initiative to mobilize the University's community:

• A committed community federated community of people motivated by sustainability who act in accordance with their values and want to be drivers of change.

• A community that installs a culture of sustainability on campus to accelerate the social and environmental transition.

Faced with today's environmental and social challenges, the Université de Liège is firmly committed to the transition, with a clear policy, networks of contacts within administrations and faculties, institutional and faculty sustainable development units, a compulsory course on Sustainability and Transition, a commitment platform "UNI for Change", institutional support for spontaneous initiatives by members of the university community..

In this constantly expanding ecosystem, the ULiège Sustainability Friends network is a veritable transmission belt that puts people and action at the heart of its work, and is a driving force for every member of the ULiège community. It aims to strengthen the enthusiasm of ULiège community members for all the actions and activities related to the transition social and environmental transition.

This dynamic aims to go beyond the circle of the convinced:

Enable every member of the ULiège to become a player in the transition as a citizen- or as part of a professional mission. That togetherhe 30,000 members of the ULiège, through their high consciousness and actionsparticipatent in accelerating the social and environmental transition within the University andt establishnt a real culture of sustainability on campus.

Any member of the ULiège community (student or staff member) who is motivated by the Social and Environmental Transition, who wants to be a driving force for change within the University, and who is ready to get involved on a voluntary basis according to their time and availability.

The diversity of our profiles will enrich our network and reinforce our sense of belonging to a University that's committed!

• Relay and promote the various activities organized on campus in this area
• Provide information on existing best practices at ULiège in the field of sustainability
• Report on sustainability issues on campus
• Participate in events and other activities organized by ULiège transition players
• Support the action proposals of the UNI for Change commitment platform
• Share ideas and/or co-construct projects with ULiège transition players, teachers, students, etc.
